In spite of the lack of historic attractions, you'll have plenty of places to visit in Gaborone.
After the morning safari and a rich breakfast, you will be picked up by your tour guide at 10 am. After about an hour's drive, during which you cross the border into Botswana, you will reach Gaborone. You will return to Rhulani at 3pm, so you will not miss the High Tea and the afternoon safari.

She feels a detective needs to know about people more than anything to solve problems for them.

At Rhulani we offer a variety of yoga styles, as well as meditation and breathwork sessions. We invite you to enjoy the practice of mindfulness, movement and relaxation, and all this just for you, tailored to you, and private.

Our vinyasa yoga classes are strong, fast-paced classes in which we connect our breath to postures to create a seamless flow of movement. These classes help to create a wider range of motion, building strength and increasing flexibility. They are perfect as a morning or afternoon activity, as they are a wake-up and pick-you-up.

Yin classes are slow, quiet and contemplative, with postures held for longer periods of time. They help alleviate stress and restore energy levels by stilling your body and mind. These classes are great for late afternoon/evening as they improve your quality of sleep and calm your mind.

Yinyasa classes are an integration of the two above-mentioned styles of yoga. They connect the seamless flow of vinyasa, but slow it down, holding postures for longer periods of time while still generating heat and strength in the body. Yinyasa classes suit any time of day.

Meditation sessions benefit you both physically and emotionally by calming your body and mind, enhancing attention, reducing anxiety and improving sleep. Breathwork has a lot of the same benefits and these sessions are hosted using both modalities together.

Legality of Weddings for Foreigners in South Africa

South African legislation requires a foreign couple to attend an appointment at the Department of Home Affairs before they can be legally married in South Africa. Since this is quite a cumbersome task for someone on safari, we suggest that you process all legal marriage requirements and documents in your home country and enjoy your ceremony on safari in a more traditional way.

Immerse yourself in the nightlife of the African bush

After dinner, go out into the bush again with your ranger in complete darkness and be surprised by which animals will suddenly appear in the headlights that you cannot see in daylight.

Did you know that you can identify certain species of animals at night by the color of their eye reflections?

Together with your ranger, you might find a small chameleon in the bushes, observe the funny scrub hares coming out of hiding, an eagle owl on the tree top, or small wild cats such as a genet or a wildcat, and maybe even a leopard setting off to hunt.

The adventure starts after dinner, completely privately for you. On this night safari, which lasts around 2 hours, there will be also a moment of peace, without lights and engine noise, where you can just listen to the magical sounds of nature and, on a clear night, observe the starry sky.

Cost (2 hours): R2 950 per vehicle

Terms and conditions:
  • The exact departure time after dinner depends on the season and will be agreed with the ranger
  • In case of bad weather or cold, the night safari can be postponed to another evening or cancelled without any costs
  • The maximum number of guests for the night safari is 6 people

Pinotage is much more than just a red wine, let yourself be surprised!
Pinotage is the grape variety known for South Africa. But did you know that in addition to the well-known red wine, Pinotage can also be enjoyed as a sparkling wine and a rosé wine?

During your stay in Rhulani, get to know "the three shades of Pinotage" at a private tasting event, where you can discuss your own preferences for which foods go well with Pinotage using "food & wine pairing".

Pinotage
Pinotage is a red wine grape that is South Africa's signature variety. It was cultivated there in 1925 as a cross between Pinot noir and Cinsaut (Cinsaut was known as "Hermitage" in South Africa at that time, hence the name). It typically produces deep red varietal wines with smoky, bramble and earthy flavours, sometimes with notes of bananas and tropical fruit, but has been criticised for sometimes smelling of acetone. The grape is a viticultural intraspecific cross of two varieties of Vitis vinifera, not an interspecific hybrid.

Plan this activity as a private event for you and for your friends or family according to your own wishes. We will be happy to adapt this special event to your preferences in terms of time and location.

Cost (minimum 2 persons) R450 per person

Visit Nearby Gaborone (Botswana)

After the morning safari and a rich breakfast, your tour guide will pick you up at 10 am. After about an hour's drive, during which you cross the border into Botswana, you will reach Gaborone. You will return to Rhulani at 3pm, so you will not miss the high tea and afternoon safari.

She feels a detective needs to know about people more than anything to solve problems for them.
